 The Philippines honors National Women’s Month through various activities and initiatives throughout March. This observance is profoundly connected to the worldwide celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD), a practice that originated from the activism of women in the early 20th century who fought for labor rights and gender equality.

 My reading of this theme is that it recognizes the significance of inclusion, understanding that everyone deserves equal opportunities and respect, irrespective of their gender, sexual orientation, or any other attribute, promoting gender equality, this campaign seeks to reverse the systematic way of discrimination and imbalances that having a traditionally discriminated against various groups, especially women and minority groups, trigger voices of oppressed people and communities, so their experiences, views, and interests are considered in an seeking a more just society.

Further, it speaks out for marginalized individuals and communities, ensuring that their needs, perspectives, and experiences are heard in the struggle towards a more equitable society. 

 Overall, the "We for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society" campaign is a step in the right direction towards a more equitable society. This initiative can affect positive change by fostering a culture of inclusivity, tackling underlying inequities, raising the voices of the disadvantaged, and building an inclusive culture.
