Filipino people are known for their resourcefulness and strong community of spirit, which it shines through in their efforts to build resilience. The government has rolled out various measure to give hope, including better early warning systems and stronger building codes to stand in any disasters. Local communities are also stepping forward, with initiatives like disasters preparedness drills and community response in terms of becoming more common. The support of international partners and NGO’s brings additional resources and experts, helping to bolster, and even local efforts. These aspects are not just practical solutions but also a way to foster a sense of protection and hope.

However, the journey towards a more resilient, the Philippines is still challenging. Many people, especially in lower class or remote areas, struggles with limited resources and access to support. Issues like poverty and uneven policy implementation can slowly progress, leaving some communities more vulnerable that others overcoming these challenges will require a unity effort from all parts of society government, local communities and international allies. By working together and focusing on inclusivity and sustainability, the Philippines can continue to build on its resilience, ensuring that every Filipino has the strength and resources to face whatever comes next from the second time around.
